what i write:

I write all sorts of things, but everything that has been published so far has been either academic work or policy advice. Behind the scenes, I’m looking to find a way to also get thoughts and observations that don’t find their way into texts of those two formats out there. 

why i write:

As an ethnographer, I write down things that stand out to me intuitively and then later look for patterns in those writings as fuel for more writings. I am sure there are all sorts of explanations as to why one would do this kind of thing. For me, it ultimately all comes down to the fact that the world is simply too odd to move through it without taking notes.
